COVID-19 Terms and Conditions

We are very pleased that we can reopen. In order to keep everyone as safe as possible, we need you to agree to our Covid-19 Terms and Conditions before we can confirm your stay.

1) Within a two week time-frame prior to your arrival, should anyone in your household be symptomatic, you must notify Hazel.

2) Each member of your party must use the hand sanitiser provided on arrival and each time you return to the property during your stay.

3) Should any of your party become symptomatic during your stay, Hazel must be notified, and your party will be expected to return home.

4) If a visit to the property is necessary during your stay, all guests will be expected to vacate the inside.

5) If you are having a clean and change of bedding part way through your stay please ensure you adhere to T & Cs 4, 6 & 7.

5) Prior to departure, all cutlery, mugs, cups and glasses used to have been washed in the dishwasher at 60 degrees.

6) Prior to departure, all bedding to be stripped and bagged in laundry bags provided. Pillow protectors to be stripped and bagged separately. Towels, bath mats and tea towels to be bagged.

7) Prior to departure, all windows to be opened except velux windows if raining.

8) All bins to have been emptied, bin liners tied and placed in dustbins.

9) Depart promptly at 10am to allow for deep clean before new arrivals.

10) Arrival times may have to be delayed to allow for deep cleaning between guests. Hazel will notify you in advance if this is the case.

We are offering short breaks again as well as long stays; if you stay midweek then the 4th night is free! We have availability this month from Monday 19th September.

Guests in July enjoyed the hot and sunny weather we experienced and their dogs enjoyed cooling down in the sea on the various nearby dog friendly beaches! It was great to see the sun-loungers in use in the gardens. In June we entered the cottages into a competition for the category of ‘Dog Friendly Business of the Year’. We are delighted to have reached the final stage of judging for the Herald Express English Riviera and South Devon Tourism and Hospitality Awards. We will let you know the result!

This month our remaining availability is in Buttercup Cottage from 19th – 26th; £960.

We are always striving to give you and your pets the most relaxing and stress free holiday possible and are constantly referring to your feedback forms for ideas. For a few years, we have been wanting to provide guests with sun-loungers to enable relaxing in the garden to be more comfortable but the cottages don’t have enough storage space. So…… I asked Sean if he could extend the shed! He has made an amazing job of this, upcycling all of his materials from the hotel! In the shed we now have room to store the frames and cushions for sun-loungers. Guests can now help themselves to the sun-loungers and return them when not in use. We just ask that they are not left outside when not in use so the cushions don’t get damp.

We have also introduced a ‘doggy welcome pack’ which is in a tray and includes a food and water bowl, a tasty gluten free chew, a spare dog lead and poo bags.

We have had a recent cancellation for 5th – 12th August in Clover Cottage sleeping 4 plus 1, (£960) The only other availability in August is the 19th – 26th in Buttercup Cottage sleeping 4 (£960).

Short breaks resume on Friday 2nd September.

We have had some lovely warm weather over the past month and things look promising for May. The gardens look really pretty at this time of year especially with the flowers on the cherry blossoms. Sean has been making the most of the good weather; he has been busy outside gardening and painting!

Our online booking system has been a huge success and customers are now also able to pay online when they book. We only have 3 short breaks available now in May; Buttercup Cottage; 16th – 19th May £299 and one break in Daisy Cottage 16th -19th May £430. We only have two weeks available in June, these are in Daisy Cottage which can be used as a two bed & 1 bathroom cottage at £680.

The last short break available until 29th August is 9th – 13th June in Daisy Cottage from £360 – please ring to book this rate.

We have already started to take our first bookings for 2015!
